"The service is awful considering the price. One of the elevators is not working and hasn't been for several months. The other 2 are old and frequently break down. It is nothing to wait 10 minutes plus for an elevator. Management is not helpful and does not seem willing to fix problems. Refrigerator is very old, has an icebox that needs to be de-iced, looks to be about 30 years old. Very old stove, etc. Cogir seems to have a reputation for not willing to spend any money on maintenance. Avoid."

"I lived in the building for 2 years and the service is aweful. They took 4 months to fix the air conditioner that was leaking, the pool was never functional and they are extremely rude. Also, my apartment got boken into and lap top was stolen and the administration was very unhelpful and did not give me access to the videotape. On top of all of this, they illegally ask for deposits for everything and do not return your money.
I would tell anyone looking for apartments to stay far away from this building and over all Cogir managed buildings as they all illegally ask for deposits."

"The service at Le Chatel is extremely bad, and has gotten even worse since Creccal Management took over in April 2009. The office staff is extremely rude and unhelpful. And they run several aspects illegally like showing your apartment to potential renters without giving you a 24-hour notice like stipulated by the Rental Board of Quebec. They'll simply call a few minutes before to let you know they're on their way to show your place to someone. And the noise level has increased dramatically, the building has become a non-official Concordia residence for students and management doesn't do anything about noise complaints while security ignores the complaints."

"They are just a bunch of thieves trying to steal students' money so stay away from them. The building is old and everything inside the appartments is falling apart. They did some cheap renovations lately which took them nearly a year to finish. They don't even f***ing know that they have to lay carpets in the lobby during winter so the lobby is a mess, wet and slippery and people bring all the salt in their shoes to the floors! Their stinky garbage is always floating with homeless people in front of the building looking for things. The management just simply sucks. They are super expensive compare to other buildings in the area. The building is an absolute disaster specially for their extremely high prices. Don't let them fool you, go somewhere else. I can't wait to leave, have had very bad experiences with the rental office."
