"Have a friend who hated the experience of driving due to the school.. They have a legal obligation to give back money on contract cancelation but never want to do so. Upsell lessons like CRAZY from day one, constant nag. They call you on the phone to tell you you'll need to add another package more hours. They really don't give much effort at all to teaching you....etc etc They will give you a progress report EVALUATION for the sole purpose of wanting to upsell you lessons They demand full payment up front. DO NOT EVER GO TO OMEGA. Malonchaw recommended highly BEST driving recommended highly. Anywhere you go is better, CAPITAL in Verdun is also good. if you DO go to this school, Omega that is, you will remember this post because you will regret it most likely!"

"I had a horrible experience with them a few years ago and am surprised to see that they are still in business. They will make you pay for their own manuals and will not let you continue the driving lessons until you buy them. They will also insist you pay extra by giving you a bad review and then tell you that you need special lessons. I had to call the Quebec Safety League to step in so I could continue my lessons without extra payment. I also notice they try to take advantage of people who are ethnic minorities and haven't been in Canada for long."

"One of the women booking apppointments in the Cote Vertu office messes up dates then tries to get you to pay a cancellation fee. She also booked a lesson and I showed up to only find out it was cancelled. No one called to tell me it was! I paid for extra lessons because I felt like I needed them. I found one competant instructer and insisted to only have him. The other ones do not teach you anything. One instructor made me incredibly nervous and talked down to me like I was an imbecile! I have 2 lessons left, I was told that my last lesson is an evaluation. Im positive they are going to give me a negative one just to try and sell me more lessons. They did this to my friend's daughter. She didnt take the extra lessons and passed her exam. DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL"

"Horrible instructors who barely speak English and text and talk on their cell phones on what is supposed to be YOUR learning time that you paid for. Very unprofessional, and furthermore, unsafe! Cars dirty and smelly inside. They are quick to charge you a cancellation fee (which they expect you to pay IN ADDITION to your lesson package, rather than you just losing a lesson) yet the customer is offered no compensation if one of the instructors cancels at the last minute. I regret choosing this driving school. I may just cut my losses even though they owe me lessons, and sign up for another driving school, the only question is, which one???"

"one of the worst places, as people mentioned above...their sole purpose is upsell....i already knew driving, driving for last 10 years....but was new to Canada and the driving here. Went to Omega, as that was the first school came to mynotice...and was sincere to tell them my situation and they from that immediate point started scaring me that i need atleast 6 or so lessons as quebec is tough to drive etc...and strict rules...etc etc. Anyhow, i said give me an hour and lets see the problems i need to rectify, they forced me into two...lack of time to research i said ok. ( to realize later that where everyone was charging 35-40 dollars...max they charged me 50) and then the guy ( Tony ) gave no good tip or pointer rather tried hard to unsettle me and pushed atleast four classes. i asked things to improve, and he said you know you break hard...and you missed all the signs...i realized i was being cheated and left...and passed outright in first go coming week. Stay away from them...."
